Thank you to all the Supporters and volunteers that helped make Spring Break 08 a success. The food was tasty, the items were plentiful, and the entertainment was great!

Entertainment was provide by www.royalblueband.com  and they were absolutely wonderful!

Each and every person involved in these events make a difference!  Whether you donated items, cooked some food, or came down to help us sort... YOU were a part of making a difference in the lives of people who needed your help.

We hope that each and every person involved will be back for our  Winter Survival Event  which will be held near Thanksgiving. Please check back to the site regularly for updates on that event and the other programs that COPP has created to help the less fortunate.

HELP US HELP THE COMMUNITY!

COPP is always looking for and working on new ways to help out those in our community that have fallen into hard times.  Times are tough financially for many people right now.  COPP strives to provide those that are currently homeless with the tools that it takes to survive on the street,  AND we want to help prevent homelessness.  Yes, It's a tall task, but we are committed and passionate about this and we are here to help!  We need the help of all of you in the community as well though.

For almost a decade COPP has been holding events such as our SPRING BREAK 08 to feed and provide clothes to the homeless and poor in our community. Yes, it helps alot,  but it is simply a band-aid to survival.  Sadly, we see more and more people being pushed to live on the streets.  This has to be helped!

Whether it be because of the difficult real estate / mortgage situation that is causing many people to lose their homes,  or maybe because of a health issue that makes it impossible for people to work and bring in money for bills, or it could possibly be the their transportation broke down and they could not afford to fix it, thus they could not keep a job.....These things don't have to happen. The community can help.

" TAP " Transportation Assistance Program

TAP ( Transportation assistance Program) is another way that Care Of Poor People, can bring together the whole community together to give those down and out a hand up in our community, by providing  those with minor car problems, the means of being able to address their transportation problems.  Please visit our PROGRAMS  page to read more about this new program!
